Customer service was amazing! I was working on limited time due to trying to make it to the DMV before they closed at 5pm. I had called several locations to try to get an inspection without success, and then I came across Neal's Garage online. Of course being new to Durham I was a little skeptical but I spoke with Scott and he reassured me that he could have me in and out in time to make it to the DMV before 5pm and also gave instructions on how to get there. I will definitely will be returning for my brake service in the near future.

Neal's garage use to be my go to garage for repairs, until my daughter brought in her Mercedes SUV for minor stuff like oil change, tire rotation, etc. We dropped her car off after hours(scheduled appointment for the next day) and was welcomed by an employee that received her keys, we didn't expect anyone to be there. We left, the next day my daughter called around 12noon to check the status of her only to find out they didn't know anything about her car being there, to my surprise the employee had taken my daughter's car, the shop looked and looked for the employee because he didn't show up for work. Long story short, my daughter's car was wrecked and totaled by this employee. He was charged with a DWI and several other charges.

The owner of the garage (Chris Snipes) and manager, made promises to my daughter, everything will be ok, I will do right by you, don't worry, I will handle everything for you.

Well guess what my daughter, lost her car, and Chris Snipes wouldn't even return our numerous phone call, so to say the least, my daughter was the victim and lost everything, even her insurance company had to pay off her car. Neal's garage statement " ( Neal’s commitment to treating customers great is what earns such outstanding comments from our customers) my daughter was not treated great in fact I will not recommend this business for anyone that needs to leave their car overnight. She lost her down payment that she paid on the car and had to come up with another down payment for a different car, she lost her designer sunglasses that were in the car, she lost her garage door openers ( had to replace), she lost her extended warranty that was on the car. For a business to boast themselves on customer service, you would have thought that some empathy would have been for my daughter.

I went to the garage for a scheduled appointment with owner (Chris) and he didn't show up, and has yet called my or my daughter.
