Our cat Sparky wasn't behaving normally. He was eating less, having difficulty keeping his hind legs up, and drinking less water. A quick call to Newburgh Veterinary Hospital got us an appointment just before closing. After a preliminary exam, bladder and temp checks, it was decided to keep him overnight for further tests in the morning. After x-rays and ultrasound, a recovery plan was developed. Dr. Landry and the rest of the staff had stayed open beyond closing time to start the care of Sparky. Sparky was released to our care after the completion of the tests. His recovery can be clearly seen, better appetite, drinking, and mobility. Dr. Landry made a follow up call the day after his discharge to check on his progress. This veterinary hospital and its satellite office in New Paltz have cared for all our animals. All our animals have received excellent care whether it was annual checkups or unexpected health problems.
