Newport Veterinary Center is always considerate of the pet owner's time - remaining true to appointments and not over booking, nor being treated like a "number". Every visit has been pleasant, as the doctor and support staff treat the pets and humans with respectful care.
Everyone was nice. I took my puppy for his first visit and it was $70. The vet didn’t even look at his paperwork or else she would’ve advised me to have him finish his shots. She also said he was due for a rabies shot and he just got one not even a month ago. I’m normally not one to write reviews, but I feel like I wasted my time and $70 and now I need to find a new vet.
The staff were extremely friendly and courteous from start to finish. They were great with my puppy. I couldn’t be happier with their service. Prices more on the higher side, however the customer service made it well worth it.
Overall, nice in-person service from vet & support staff. Getting appts can be difficult, though. Also, their hours aren't entirely clear. I think they need to do a bit better with managing their schedule & should work on creating more availability.
I took my puppy for her first visit at Newport Veterinary Center since it’s close to my place. Staffs are very friendly. Doctor went over all the vaccines that my puppy has to get and answered all my questions. He was great with my puppy. Received a call the next day from the doctor to go over test results. I’m very happy that I found Newport Veterinary Center!
My appt began over an hour after it was supposed to with no apology or excuse. Then when I asked for my full prescription to written out for me to take a copy home one of the receptionists told me they weren't allowed to unless I was going to buy glasses in store that day.
Last I checked, my medical records aren't to be kept hostage unless I buy overpriced glasses.
