I had a perm, but it didn't take. I waited several days and my hair went back to exactly the way it was when I walked into the salon. The person who did my hair was nice, but I felt she wished she had someone else other then myself. I started to tell her about the reason I was deaf and in a wheelchair. Her response was..."And you're still talking about it?" I should have known then to not say anything, but I hadn't been out in such a long time. I never shared my health problems, except with family. I hadn't been out in years as far as social. Just to see my doctors and out to eat, but other then that it was my first time actually chatting with a non-family member. I admit I went overboard with my chatter. You do have a lot to offer, but I won't be back. Sorry, really my doing, not hers or yours, except for the bad perm. I wish you the best.
I'm sorry to hear your perm did not take but this usually happend when you are taking heavy medicine, high blood pressure, cholesterol, thyroid... ect. There is not a lot we can do to change it, since all perms are chemicals and medicines are chemical, some times you will encounter cuimical reactions, which is what happened to your perm. One again we discussed the end result in our consultation. We wish you the best .
