I have been to Northgate Smiles one other time and had a pretty nice experience, but this one felt a little uncomfortable. Though everyone was nice and professional, both the dental hygienist and my actual dentist (separately) mentioned that they were doing more work and it would probably cost more. I was numbed up and it was 7 in the morning so I didn't really have a chance to respond or inquire further (I can't talk when my mouth is open and numb). They both mentioned it would be "20, 30 dollars more" but when I went up to check out, my bill was 273.00 instead of the previously quoted 168 dollars. That is an EXCEPTIONAL amount more and I really didn't like their approach. I had double and triple checked that I would only owe 168 dollars so their blase approach to adding more than 100 dollars of work to my bill is pretty insulting.
Also one of the hygienists was sick and sniffly and it just felt very strange that she was allowed to be that close to my open mouth, even with a mask on.
