I have trusted Dr. Bob to improve my cats' health and well being for 30 years. I have previously recommended Dr. Bob to a friend who is a dog parent and she has also been very happy.

Always a pleasant experience even at the front desk which is rare these days. From the front desk to the techs to Dr Bob, everyone is courteous, professional and I have the utmost confidence that my pet is receiving the best care possible.

Staff and doctor are friendly, pleasant and attentive. Although the doctor is very knowledgeable, and able to treat my dog appropriately, the prices are outrageously higher then other places. This is a private practice, and I guess, they can set their own prices without a cooperate office breathing down their back. Since they’ve been seeing my dog for quite a number of years, my husband suggested we stay with them. But, might reconsider if their prices keep going up.

North Laurel Animal Hospital replied:

Thanks for the kind words!! I'd like to address our fees, or better siad, your concerts regarding our fees.We set our fees based on the costs for supplies, inventory, insurance, rent, electricity, water, taxes, staff salaries etc. EACH HOSPITAL IS DIFFERENT. Unlike some other places, there is no reason to lure people in with discounted "up front fees" only to bash them once something else has to be done. Are fees are what they are.We have to stay open and we have to be able to stock products and have equipment that allows us to practice the highest quality medicine and surgery we can. We are better equipped than most other hospitals locally or even nationally. We have endoscopes, ultrasound, a fully integrated lab suite, digital radiology, both for the body (chest, abdomen,m musculoskeletal systems), along with digital intraoral radiology. We were the first in the state of Maryland to have the C4 Cold Laser to be able to use for our patients. We could not have all of the wonderful instruments to better care for our patients with if we did not charge appropriately. Our clients want this level of care, and we will continue to strive to be able to provide it to them.

I took one of our cats in for their periodic thyroid and BP check. The technician was so patient and caring with Alex, our 17-year old Alex. Everything went well and I had him back home in a short time. I love the personal attention we get at NLAH. Everyone is so nice.
