I usually have an excellent massage. Elle, is the lady that I usually use but she was off on this particular day and I needed relief. Unfortunately, the girl that was there was not very good. She must have not looked at my chart, (I've been going to NR for a nearly two years now), because she asked me, "Why are you here today?" I explained to her my two troubling areas and a couple other places, but made sure she understood that I needed DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE. I explained to her that usually elbows are the only time that I get relief. I understand that deep tissue is more difficult but for me, "NO pain NO relief". I got ready and when she came in there was NO MUSIC, the lights were left on and there was no flow to her massage. At first she just poked at me and I kept telling her, "More pressure". It seemed like it was her first time. There were other issues too, but I think you get the point.
I don't want to be totally negative, so let me say that she was nice and kind and did seem to try and help. But someone really needs to show her how to do a proper DEEP TISSUE massage. Help her with the atmosphere, etc.
Hope this helps.
