Since I no longer work downtown I must drive 35-40 miles to Northtown Auto Clinic for my Volvo service. But the reward is always a good service experience coupled with the 12,000 mile / 12 month AAA warrantee.

Thanks Dave. We appreciate your business and your trust in us. AAA Approved Auto Repair requires that we provide a minimum of a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty, however Northtown Auto Clinic 's warranty is 24 month/24,000 miles.

Jenny, we are very sorry to hear you were not happy with your visit. The AAA Car Care Promotion coupon included an oil change, tire rotation, brake inspection and 40-point inspection of the vehicle for $34.99 plus tax and shop supplies; all requirements of which we met. When you arrived for your appointment, you mentioned to us that you were headed on a long road trip. So from there, we took extra care to present what we found with your inspection, prioritized by what you would need to do to have as smooth and uneventful a trip as possible.
With your inspection, we did find some things that could have potentially been issues along your trip (namely, low coolant and thin tires with a nail in one) and suggested an item to help improve your fuel economy (replacing a dirty air filter), because who doesn?t like to save gas? Every step of the way we reviewed with you the potential services, their pluses and minuses, and costs. From there, you approved or declined services and expenses as you saw necessary.
It is our goal and professional responsibility to keep our customers informed with issues that may affect the safety and reliability of their vehicles. We are very sorry that your vehicle needed work that you were not prepared for. You spent more money on your visit than you were expecting, but only on some of the extra items needed....all estimated and approved by you prior to work being done.
We have been part of the AAA Approved Auto Repair program since it started in Kansas City 29 years ago. One of the requirements of getting in and staying in this program is a very high level of customer satisfaction which we have maintained. AAA has a local representative for the Approved Auto Repair program. He works for YOU, the AAA Member. If you would like a second opinion on your visit, please feel free to contact Bob Kline at (816) 931-5252 x154. Our contract with AAA includes binding arbitration in member disputes, so we will do whatever AAA says. (We have not had an arbitration in 29 years!)
