Northwood is a sub-specialty clinic specializing in the evaluation & treatment of anxiety & mood disorders such as depression, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, PTSD, and OCD.
The first session is the evaluation where the psychiatrist spends time with the patient exploring history and symptoms amongst other relevant information, leading to a provisional diagnosis & treatment plan. Sometimes more than one session is needed to complete the evaluation. Following that, the patient is seen usually within 2-3 weeks and the follow up process starts. This phase of treatment includes adjustments & fine-tuning of the treatment plan based on response. Therapy is always recommended. Appointments tend to get less frequent as progress is made.

Frequently doesn’t answer phones/return calls. Scheduling appointments was very difficult. Prescription renewals often took weeks. Won’t be returning
