Five stars are not enough. After five years of professional care by the Fields of Vision (FOV), my client experience there continues to exceed expectations. Exceeding expectations is the proof of value in any professional care relationship. Why this is the case for my most recent visit follows. From the receptionist's intake, through the pre-Doctor session conducted by a very skilled associate, to Doctor Fields' portion of the entire exam, the planning and inherent structure of the patience, positivity and professionalism intended for the client's encounter with the FOV experience is evident. During my recent visit, my interaction with Dr. Fields and associates was even beyond the routinely excellent care received. Dr. Fields not only performed his exam, in doing so, he took special note of the dysfunctional condition of my glasses. Above empathy, his response transpired into taking the glasses from me. In moments, the glasses that for months I had worn taped or not at all were repaired and returned to me. Briefly, the associate who had repaired the glasses appeared, allowing me the opportunity to thank both her and the Doctor together for the sight saving fix. My thanks seemed shallow to me because I realized how well they understood how vital having a functional pair of glasses was for anyone. The element of their reaction to my elation that was most impressing and telling to me was the clear satisfaction that they shared in the joy of my gratitude. That is why five stars for the Fields of Vision are not enough.
