I brought my malamute in for some atypical symptoms he had begun to display. The staff were so incredibly kind and wonderful - they greeted my dog on the floor, giving him love and TLC, listed to all my concerns, and then did a wonderfully thorough exam to help figure out what was going on. Dr. Nemeth was able to identify the problem, help treat Loki and come up with a plan on how to proceed with his care in the future. I can't express enough about how grateful I am all of the staffs' care and handling of my "precious baby."
SO happy we found this place!!! The receptionist went out of her way to get our puppy in at the very last minute, and kept us updated on any cancellations to get him in sooner. When we arrived, the staff was so friendly and kind to both us and our dog. The doctor was wonderful and very patient to explain everything to us “new parents”. Not a single negative thing to say- we were blown away by the service and care. Will be telling all of our friends about NWAC :)
Recent visit was for vaccines. Have been coming here for about a year with 13 yo Llasa Apso. Entire staff very caring. My dog loves the attention and treats and calms down pretty quickly since going to the vet always makes her shake a little.
Vaccines are more expensive than other options but regular office visits quite reasonable.
My cat needed a very serious surgery and my regular vet wasn’t confident in completing it herself. From our very first conversation it was clear that Dr. Purdee was beyond personable, confident, and resourceful. I knew that my cat was going to given every chance at a real recovery.
Once the surgery was completed and throughout her days in recovery, I was continually kept in the loop through phone calls. They literally called me throughout the day to tell me how she was doing, asked me for my thoughts on her treatments, gave me recommendations for care, and quite honestly just gave me peace of mind that she was being well taken care of. Other doctors and assistants stepped in to this role as well.
This is truly a place that loves animals and is willing to go above and beyond to treat its patients and owners like family.
Our great experience begins as soon as we walk in the door. Finn has even gotten used to getting weighed right away. Finn especially enjoys receiving the many treats from the friendly staff. The only bad thing is Finn getting visibly shaky, thinking he is going to have to have another stay with surgery. I would recommend NW Animal Care Hospital.
They treat my dogs with love and care. My dogs are relaxed and trust the techs and doctors. I never feel like they are trying to sell me something, and really care about every animals well-being. NW Animal Care is much more cost-effective than any previous vet I went to, without sacrificing quality care.
