Dr. Mannava was thorough and caring in her examination of my extensive periodontal disease. She explained what she was doing with the probe and testing the solidity of my teeth's roots to assess bone loss. I took her diagnosis pretty hard, as I was not expecting to need dentures. I cried, and Dr. Mannava apologized for being the bearer of bad news; she seemed genuinely concerned. My options were explained, and I look forward to a treatment plan at our next appt.
