Really like Dr. Forester. He is very personable, does a very thorough exam and explains his findings very well and is the only reason I go here. I am NOT a fan of their check out process. When finished with the exam, a representative from the optical shop comes and leads you to the store, where it is assumed you will buy glasses from them. They DO NOT offer to give you your prescription and you feel like you are being given the hard sell to purchase there. Their optical shop is pricey and for many, $400-$600 or more for a pair of glasses is difficult to manage financially. Care credit is offered. 6 months same as cash. If you don’t pay off in 6 months, it’s 26.9% interest!! Outrageous! I believe you should be offered your Rx and then it is your choice to shop in their optical shop or go elsewhere. I would refer someone to OKC Vision, but would warn them about their sales practice. I probably will not take my kids there because of the sales practice. Not interested in paying a premium price for glasses that may get damaged or lost, nor am I interested in having to deal with having to ask for the Rx so can go somewhere else.
