For the past 14 years I have been going to Dr Ching, the last three years I have had nothing but billing issues. I was just there three weeks ago and personally spoke to Dr Ching himself about the billing issues, of how they get authorized and I pay my portion then weeks later get hit by more fees!! Well, they did it again!! After I just told him about my past experiences with the billing department, I went in for a filling, Dr Ching said I needed a crown, then before getting the authorization he wants to drill it out, the filling was 160$ after insurance but the crown was going to cost more. I don't really understand him, he could have just got the authorization for the crown and I come back, no, he drills it out and charges me 200$ after I just paid 160$ and was told I had a credit of 80$. No more, I am done with them!!
I'm glad that the good years outweighed the other three. I would like to clarify the events of your appointment. Yes you were scheduled for a filling on a tooth that already had a 20 year old very large filling. In cleaning out the filling I was able to determine that the tooth structure that was left would not support another large filling. At this time I explained that we would have to build up the tooth in preparation for a crown. I had the front office staff go over the change in treatment and the fees. You signed this form giving authorization to move forward with the treatment and it was also acknowledgment of the fees. That day we submitted a request for a Pre-Authorization for a crown. That authorization has since returned "Authorized". I'm not sure what more I could have done to make it more seamless.
In regards to your "billing issues" the past couple of years. I think your displeasure stems from the calls and statements you have received from my collections staff. They have been trying to collect on your grossly delinquent family balance for treatment and fees you authorized by signature.
I made attempts to contact you. Thus far you have not returned my call. I regret that you have chosen this method to communicate with me.

The office runs smooth and my appointment started on time. I suggest that you review your practice of calling clients and telling them you have canceled their appointment because they didn't confirm. I have never missed an appointment and confirmed on line!

I was glad Kristine had to do my cleaning. She thoroughly cleaned my teeth! And she keep asking if I was doing okay during the procedure. Best post advice on cleaning n flossing, which I'll definitely take seriouly.
