Had a real fun time ! It’s not like it used to be, but what is right. All new machines, great staff. It’s an eye Dr folks. Walk in do your paperwork, smile be friendly, do what they tell you, joke with them have fun. Then see the dr and enjoy it. Let your worries float away. It’s fun really it is.

Dr. Mackelprang is one of the best healthcare professionals I've been associated with. He's extremely conscientious, thorough, and detail oriented. He always makes the time to explain what he's doing and why without being condescending. He seems to really enjoy his job. I've recommended several friends and family members to OV Eyecare because of Dr. Mackelprang.
OV Eyecare always has the latest technology and is up-to-date on the latest research. All of the staff are professional and caring. OV Eyecare is a premium, one stop, health care provider and consequently charges somewhat of a premium. They've recently begun charging a credit card surcharge which feels a little greedy.

Everyone was kind and professional. Dr. Mitchell took his time talking and explaining everything to me. I was not rushed through my appointment. It was brought to my attention that I need lutein in my diet , I thank you for bringing it to my attention. My daily vitamins do not have this in it so I will be adding them to my diet. Everyone I had contact with treated me as if they owned the business. They were caring, concerned, moved with purpose and went above and beyond what anyone could expect. So many employees are lackadaisical it was refreshing to see every person behaving as if my time, treatment and level of pain mattered to them. My wife phoned at 8:15 in hopes of getting my in as soon as possible, they got me in at 9:00. (This is luck I realize) The hygienist, April, was pleasant and put me at ease immediately. She was quick with a kind word and seemed genuinely concerned about my dental health. Dr. Kotke arrived right on cue, assessed the situation, made great suggestions about resolving the problem and asked if I had other questions or concerns. I never felt rushed or as if I was an imposition. I felt as if I was a friend or family member he was helping. The office staff was professional and helpful, going beyond what is required to assist me. I attempted to work that night and couldn't due to the infection. I phoned for the pain killer I had taken a pass on earlier in the day. It was close to closing time, I thought I could make it there in time but Kim said she would be happy to stay a little after closing time and wait for me! Amazing to me to hear that. I have an unreasonable fear of dentists. That being said, I can't imagine a group of people I would rather visit when needing dental care.
