For years I have been exceptionally happy with Panacea. This last time however I was not as it seemed I was over charged on two accounts. The first I had my son's car towed in by the company they recommended. I paid the tow company but Panacea charged me about $50 to work on a towed in car. The second the replaced the window regulator on my truck for the agreed upon price. However, when I got the itemized bill it turned out that the regulator was twice the price of what a dozen companies online where selling it for. I know they can buy it for less than I can so this was a significant markup.

Thanks for your feedback. This helps us to implement and update processes to continually improve. I have reviewed both of the invoices in question. On the towed in car, that is what the initial write up and inspection was. I can see it was not articulated well on the work order and should have been removed. I apologize and am sending you a check for that amount plus tax. This could have been easily remedied with a phone call. As for the truck. The part that we installed was a regulator AND motor. I don't know if that was what you saw on the internet or not but experience has taught us to replace these particular ones as a unit. This is the part that was available this day. Had we known that you didn't mind waiting 3 or 4 days for a part with no labor warranty we certainly could have gone that route. If you choose to return for any service I hope we can meet your expectations better.

I was very pleased with the level of service in the office and with the mechanic who did the work. The price they quoted was fair for the work to be done and there were no surprises when I received the invoice. They were able to get my truck back to me in less time than originally scheduled and they actually had to do some additional repairs, calling me and letting me know that the exhaust manifold was cracked and needed replacing. Being a retired business owner and having done routine maintenance and work on my own cars and trucks for many years, it was a pleasure to do business with these courteous people who gave me outstanding service. I would recommend Panacea to anyone who needs their vehicle repaired and will use them again when ever the need arises.

I have never had a bad experience with Panacea Automotive Repair. They provide their services in a timely and professional manner. They seem to have a great team and working knowledge of all automotive concerns. The only complaint I have ever really had is, whenever I go to pick up my car after it's been serviced, I get in and start it without realizing that my transmission has been left in gear, so it stalls and jumps forward when I start the engine. But that's also my fault for not checking the shifter. It's just habit for me to put it in neutral before turning my engine off, so I never worry or think about it. A very minor complaint, but, overall, the services provided are great for the costs. I would recommend Panacea to all my friends and family!
