I had an appointment at 10 and I didn't get seen till like 10:40...so I wasn't too happy about that but other then that it was great!

y wife has been a patient of Dr. Parkes for several years. When the need came for me to seek eye care away from Fort Bragg she quickly advised that I see Dr. Parke even though her office had moved from Fayetteville to Cameron. I was very pleased with my appointment and the professionalism shown by Dr. Parke and her entire staff. The ride was worth it. G. Smalls

This place is awesome. Dr. Parke is amazing. I went to her when she was in Fort Bragg and when we moved back, i had to go back because it was such an easy going experience.. Dr. Parke has an awesome personality and you can tell that she truly loves her job.

They did a test in my child but didn't want to tell me why but my insurance wouldn't cover it and I'd get a bill. They usher you immediately to the eyeglass side after your exam and are pushy to get you to buy their glasses. They were very rude when I asked for mine and my kids prescription. We won't ever go back and I don't recommend.

We are so sorry for the misunderstanding. During routine eye exams, if our doctors discover something suspicious that requires further medical testing, the doctors always explain to the patient or parent (if a minor) the indications for the test. Additionally, we have the patient or parent (if a minor) sign an Advanced Beneficiary Notice explaining the non-coverage and nominal fee. All patients or parents (if a minor) have a right to decline additional testing before the test is performed. Please, call the office and speak to Dr. Parke personally if this protocol was not followed. We pride ourselves in providing outstanding customer service and detailed, medically based eye exams. We truly care about our patients and the health of their eyes. We hope to hear from you soon.

(+) Excellent visit. Like the new location. Staff is very professional and courteous. Extra care taken to maintain sanitary conditions. Informative video in waiting area (much better than some TV channel). Lisa Parke always provides detailed information that allows the patient to better understand each aspect of the exam.

(-) Originally told wife could schedule her appointment on same day - later changed. Not sure why? Will require two trips. Was directed to see glass consultant following exam - but I had not expressed any interest in new glasses. Wait for consult paperwork too a bit longer than anticipated. Total length of visit was about 80 minutes.

The location is more convenient, the waiting and exam rooms are very comfortable. The wait was short, the exam quick and professional.
