Exam was thorough and I left with confidence regarding the course of action.
Other staff in the office were kind and helpful with the exception of the billing/scheduling person. Trying to get on the schedule felt awkward, she charged me 5x more than my insurance copay and then put me on the schedule of another doctor who didn’t take my insurance. She wouldn’t give me straight answers when I asked questions about the billing.
Bernadette, I sincerely apologize for the difficulty you had with billing and scheduling on your visit. The initial visit at our office consists of a consultation, exam, adjustment, x-rays and additional therapies if needed. Your insurance carrier does not cover any of these services except for the actual adjustment. The new patient fee amount that is above your co-pay is to pay for these additional services. Future appointments will be charged at the co-pay set by your insurance company. Please feel free to call me directly with any questions you may have.
