Shelly does a great job and really cares that her customers are happy. Overall I find that people at this school want you to be happy with your hair.

Andrea is an amazing cosmetologist. I would love for her to do my hair again. I am an African American woman and I am very particular with any one doing my hair. Andrea was amazing!

I have been a customer of Paul Mitchell school for over 12 years. I tend to get my hair dyed every 5-6 weeks, so that makes for about 9 visits a year. This visit has some highs and lows, and I have to end up with three stars. The Very HIGH marks go to Renee, who not only fixed some color problems with my hair that have been happening over the past few visits, but also styled it so amazingly. She worked with Shelly, who is always great, and whom I really enjoy having as a stylist. The lows are that now you are making all of your students move to phase two, so if we wish to stick with our student we have been with in phase one, we are forced to pay the extra $10 even though they don't really give us a different service if we have been with them all along. On top of that, you charged me for an extra bowl of color for what Renee recommended was going to fix the problems. My hair is very short and I asked if we could just do 1/2 bowls of each color but they said no. So you made me pay for an extra bowl, and then threw out dye that was not used because I have very short hair. So a normal visit to Paul Mitchell is $25 and today I had to pay $43. Very unhappy with this. If it hadn't been for Renee's excellent work, I would have given you a 1 or 2 star rating because of this and the other issues. If I needed an extra bowl, of course I would pay for it. But this was just ridiculous. Finally, you had NO color care or color protect shampoo and conditioner in the washroom! This is beyond ridiculous! How in the world can you justify not offering your color care products to your customers coming in to have their hair dyed? Shelly was able to get some product, but she had to go looking for it and then it seemed like it was doled out like gold. I still would recommend that people come here, but I am very explanatory of these new policies and changes, which are not very consumer oriented. I continue to wish you had paper towels in the bathrooms, and that the phase two stations had tables/desks like the phase one stations so that there is a place to put product. It is ludicrous that you think that a phase two student doesn't need the same amount of space as a phase one student. I urge you to reconsider some of these policies, as they are not that nice for everyone.

I loved the beautician that gave me the body perm. She was very professional and explained everything she was doing. The reason I did not give 5 stars is that when I got home she had not covered my neck in the back properly and the blue solution was on the back/neck of my blouse. I cannot get the stain out. Looks like I will have to throw away my blouse. I was not asked to put on a robe or remove my blouse before treatment. Other than that I liked how the perm turned out.
