I was so impressed with my stylist Monica. Not only was she knowledgeable and talented, she was very professional. I was also impressed with the teaching instructor who made sure my expectations were clearly explained to the stylist. She also made sure I knew the expected cost and time the service would take. I came in with a tough job for Natalie. She handled my hair with expertise and professionalism. I appreciate her great attitude, flexibility and willingness to keep me informed every step of the way. I came in for highlights over purple dye - I did not get quite what I was looking for, but I am *thrilled* with my results and know that next time I will get closer to my original request. I have received so many compliments on Natalie's work - thank you.

However, I booked my appointment more than a week in advance and the school still double booked Natalie. I had been in her chair for about an hour when I had to be moved to an empty station while she worked with another customer. During this time the chemicals on my head began to burn my scalp and when I flagged down a teacher she asked me "On a scale of 1-10 how bad is it?". I have been chemically treating my hair for nearly 20 years and I am aware of how much pain I should experience when using chemicals. I was short with the teacher but afterwards I did receive a lot of attention. Normally, I am pretty laid back and always allow 4+ hours for my appointments at Paul Mitchell School, Louisville. This is the first time in many years that I have been disappointed by the way that the school is run. I want to make completely clear that I do not blame Natalie for any of this. Natalie was professional, apologetic and very kind. I think it is a shame that the school would double book a student and put them in the position of having to rush a service or leave a customer unattended for such a long time. Your students deserve better than that.
