The salon was quite noisy, not an inviting environment as you would expect from a high-end salon, very "mass market".

The service was not as thoughtful -- I had to clean off my own loose hair on my shoulder and around my neck after a cut.

Front counter staff very approachable and helpful, scotty my stylist was amazing. Exactly the type of cut I wanted during the consultation, explained to me what he was going to do, asked how much length I wanted off and checked in with me before he cut anything off to make sure i would be okay with the amount taken off. Very sociable but didn't pressure/press me to talk as I wasn't in a talkative mood that day. Scotty was able to understand his clients needs/wants without having to be explicitly told what to do. Would definitely recommend Scotty to others and I will be returning to him for another cut again in the near future. Very happy and pleased with my experience @ Paul Brown Salons Ward Center

I really enjoy the location and Shawn. He's been doing my hair for years. I've noticed that lately we always seem to have scheduling issues. In about 80% of my visits, Shawn is either running late or he's double booked and my appointments run really long, causing me to be late for my appointments after my visit with Shawn. I would really like to see the scheduling get fixed to a more realistic time so that I do not have to wait 15 to 30 minutes before I even get my hair washed. I notice it has a trickle down effect where Shawn is forced to speed up for his next appointment. I'm just wondering if it is because of the new automated scheduling feature and whether it can be tweaked so that Shawn can stay on time realistically, without feeling hurried. I understand if he runs late from time to time. But we always seem to have scheduling issues. It makes me feel that the salon's time is more important than my time. I hope that it can get fixed as I do enjoy my visit to with Shawn.
