My third hair appointment at Paul Mitchell and each time it gets better and better. Destiny has a creative flair and loves what she is doing.

I arrived early for my appointment and I was my stylist’s first client of the day.. I waited around 15 min for her to come bring me back. She was very unprepared, no cape, no comb to weave with. I only saw 1 brush, and one cutting comb. I booked for a full highlight and blow dry. Midway through my service the instructor walks by and asks about my roots. Did I not want my roots done..?? And I said yes but I want foils, not on the scalp bleach. She continues on doing my hair, and in one whole section she only did the ends. My hair looks AWFUL! I knew it was bad at the shampoo bowl, when the instructor came over to look at it and would bring 2 or 3 different bowls to fix it. I left orange and splotchy and spent $90!! All while the instructor and other students are telling the stylist how GOOD my hair looked!!!! I don’t know if the student had done hair before or if they just threw her out there .. but they weren’t trying to teach her anything and didn’t care how HORRIBLE my hair looked when I left. DO NOT GO HERE. I spent another $200 getting it fixed!!

I hit the jackpot when I discovered Destiny. She is a true stylist..if anyone can make my hair looking good, they are exceptional. Too bad for me she will,be completing her studies and moving on to her new career.. She will( have much success as she moves on.

I went here to color my hair from dark brown to light brown/ dark blonde and told the instructor and stylist NO RED throughout the whole time i was there. They decided to bleach my whole head and to tone down from there. When it was finished my hair came out half gold and half pure red! After i confirmed with the instructor the toner would not make my hair red. Then the morning crew who messed up my hair left for the day and handed it over to the night crew. The night crew spent a couple of hours trying to fix it and get my hair back to a normal color. They put green to cancel out the red and toned my hair again. I walked in this salon with medium brown hair, and i walked out with medium brown hair. I spent 7 hours of my day here and got nothing done!! After talking to the manager about it she still charges me for the bleach that just damaged my hair. Then she tries to make it up to me by saying I’ll have to pay for the highlights if i come back. i should of got highlights today! The “instructor” told the students to bleach my whole head just to be lighter. These people do not know what they are doing.

I arrived five minutes before my 1 p.m. appointment time with the request to stay in my car, notify staff via text that I was there, and then wait for a follow-up text to enter. I was waiting 20+ mins after my appointment time before I was finally texted back to enter. After that, I stood outside the salon in the cold for another 5-10 minutes waiting for someone to do a temperature check so I could actually enter the salon. (I could see that there were people inside who saw me but didn't acknowledge I was waiting to be let inside.) I wasn't seated until about 30 minutes after my appointment time. When I sat down, I saw a lot of people, including the instructors, standing around chatting. Why did I have to wait for so long? My stylist student was very kind, attentive, and meticulous with his work -- it wasn't until we were done that he told me I was his first client on the floor -- but I did not leave the salon until 3:15 p.m. I am glad it was a slow work day, because that was the longest hair appointment I've ever had that didn't include color. I don't think I could do a haircut experience like this again on a typical (busier) work day.

Samantha was super sweet and worked hard to do a good job. The only problem is that it took over an hour for her to get the color on my hair even with having help from a classmate towards the end, and the color processed way too long and my hair is almost black.

Customer Service was excellent and definitely worth the price paid. Stylist was very friendly and accommodating. The skillset of cutting men’s hair was lacking. I think the student should spend more time with the instructor strategizing about how to do a men’s cut if not confident. Finished product was very clearly not good but I couldn’t really tell until after I left. I would be nervous about attempting another cut there.

I had a great experience with Savanah! She was so sweet and professional, and she gave me exactly what I asked for. I never would have guessed that she was a student if I didn’t already know. I also thought everyone did a great job following COVID protocols and that made me feel very comfortable. I will definitely be back!
