Easy to schedule, very helpful on the phone, easy to get documents from, and I love using the VitusVet app. My only complaint is that there's always a wait beyond my appointment time.

They "fit" me in the same day I called and it did not take very long for us to see the doctor. We love the care they have for our furry kids.

As always the care was wonderful and the love shown to our pet was greatly valued. We did have sticker shock based on our understanding of the Puppy Package and we would recommend costs be explained up front when the customer schedules the surgery.

I'm very sorry there was any misunderstanding or confusion with the Puppy Package and the included services. We work very hard to try and prevent any type of sticker shock, by providing documents and estimates on what services will be performed and the costs involved. We try to outline from the beginning of the puppy pack purchase what it includes, and that the spay/neuter surgery (if chosen) is an extra cost when the time comes. I'd be happy to discuss this further to find out how we can improve our communication and protocols regarding this so that all information is relayed accurately. Thank you!

Everyone from the receptionists to the technicians and the veterinarian were very friendly and helpful and helped to both educate me, and put my mind at ease. Could not be more appreciative.

Moved out of state and my dog became ill. After 5 days of treatments and an overnight stay my dog was still not eating, running a fever, and just overall not doing well. Brought her back up to Dr. K at PHAH. Dr. K had already reviewed the records from the other vet prior to seeing my dog. She took her time evaluating and testing my dog. After new prescriptions my dog is back to her old self in 24 hours. Unless it's an emergency, my dog will have her doctors appointments at PHAH.

I am a new customer to PHAH due to the relocation of our vet Dr Hubbard. PHAH treated our vizsla without an appointment and did a fantastic job. From the front desk staff, techs and Dr Hubbard, PHAH was friendly, courteous and professional. The care was exceptional. My only criticism was how the fee for care was discussed. It reminded me of the 24 clinic where no service was performed until after an outline of the fees were discussed and approved. As a pet owner I find this policy somewhat distasteful.

Thank you for your feedback! We are so glad you were able to follow Dr. Hubbard and had a great experience with your new PHAH-mily members! Almost all of our clients appreciate knowing the costs associated with the services that we are recommending before anything is performed. It is actually a Maryland State veterinary board requirement to provide clients with the services that will be performed and their costs and to gain owner approval for this. This also provides our clients with the opportunity to decline something they may not be able to afford, or at least gain a better understanding of what and why this service may be needed.

To be clear, no payments or deposits are required before services are provided, and it is simply a way for our clients to have a clear understanding of what will be provided for their pets and the costs involved. Treatment plans and estimates are given to every client for this purpose. I hope this helps you to better understand the reasoning behind this policy and that it is not meant in any way to prevent services before payment - we actually offer monthly payment plans if payment cannot be made in full. I would be happy to discuss this further if for some reason I've misunderstood your concerns. Thank you again, and we look forward to providing care for your pets in the future.
