Dr. Russell and Office Manager Heather Dillon were both kind and capable. They treated my dog, Sweetpea and I very well. Service was prompt, thorough and all my questions as a first time dog owner were answered. I'd certainly recommend them again.
I was not happy with the last two vets that I tried in Boulder, but have had really good experiences with both Dr.'s Russell and Fuller.
Dr. Russell was very compassionate when he both met and euthanized my cat, Bob, in a span of 5 days in early January. Losing my 9 year old cat to renal failure so suddenly was obviously a terrible experience but Dr. Russell did everything from quieting his booming voice to library standards (Bob was scared of men and loud noises) to over-explaining the situation and procedures. He made a terrible situation a little better.
Dr. Fuller was very personable and patient as he went over my dog's teeth cleaning and tooth extraction at the beginning of February. He not only kept the extracted tooth for me to see, but showed me pictures before and after extraction. Basically, he treated me like my dog was my child and the staff treated my dog like they had never seen something so cute.
I moved here about a year and a half ago from out of state and didn't know anyone. I needed to find a vet for our two dogs and had no idea who to go to or trust. I scoured all the reviews I could on facebook, google, yelp and Better Business Bureau. I narrowed my list down by calling all the vets that had high marks and asking them questions. I finally settled in with Pet Menders and I'm very pleased with my decision. Unfortunately our first visit to the vet was one in which we decided to put our oldest dog down due to declining health. The vet, Todd Russell, was absolutely terrific in walking us through the difficult decision and all the steps. I have since returned with our other dog and our new puppy and I'm thankful I stumbled on this gem. Thank you.
Professional, helpful, and compassionate. Straightforward about options and costs, they offer justifications for their recommended courses of action to help you make decisions. My family has been bringing pets to pet menders for years and it was a no brainer to take my own.
