I worked as a model for many years in Chicago with top stylists and also worked at many US hair shows with some of the Best STYLISTS in the World, and found out that Phillip knew some of them. And Phillip is definitely in the same caliber and so glad I found him!

Philip Johnson Salon/Spa is offering a new facial peel that I highly recommend. Laura Eatherton, the salon's esthetician, gives wonderful facials, and I tried the new peel at my last appointment. My face felt so smooth and soft afterward. I plan to request the peel as often as she recommends. I also have the brow lamination and tint regularly. It controls the unruly hairs in my brows and colors the white hairs as well.
For a number of years I have driven over an hour for hair appointments with Phil Shipman. His styles are beautiful and easy for me to work with at home. I can't imagine going to anyone else.

It is no wonder that I continue to drive an hour and a half every month for my cut and color with Lindsay. She’s just the best stylist and colorist I’ve had by far and so much fun. Though I’ve gone through a number of looks over the years she’s helped me find the right coloring and shape for my moods. Right now in blond highlight pixie cut mode and it’s a keeper. Thank you Lindsay and PJ staff for being such a great friendly group and always making my visits fun and so worth the drive.
