I enjoyed my mat class on Sunday. The teacher was very attentive and helpful. It was a small class and I got a lot of personal attention. My second class using equipment was a different story. The teacher was very rude - she made several comments that made me feel unwelcome. She began by asking me if I had any health or physical issues. I said no, not really. Then she persisted asking me about my knees, back etc. After I said no again, she said "So I guess you're perfect." Pretty sarcastic. Then when she asked me what Pilates I had done before and I told her I had done mat but this was the first time using the equipment she said "this should be interesting." Later, after I did several exercises to her satisfactions she said "see, she deserves to be here." Really? Abrasive, rude, condescending - I will never take a class with her again. Your teachers should get customer service training. I've worked out at numerous gyms, taken a wide variety of fitness classes and never had this experience at another studio.
