Very bad experience on 5/15/2019. I called Pinnacle (888-338-0186) about replacing one bulb in a tree light that had burned out at my home. I was quoted that this would cost $186 service call, $176 tree climb, and $104 for the new bulb or $466 total. The Pinnacle crew of 3 arrived on May 15, 2019 and I was told my bulb was no longer manufactured and that I needed a new ballast for $170 additional. This was not true since I later ordered the exact bulb on the internet from Atlanta Lighting for under $40. Pinnacle then presented me with a proposed bill for $1,150 including 3 men for 1 1/2 hours ($450). I told the Pinnacle supervisor that this was not in agreement with my telephone quote. He then checked with the Pinnacle office and informed me that Pinnacle would not reduce the charge. At this point, I kicked the Pinnacle crew off the job and said I would never use Pinnacle again.
Dear Anonymous, we are sorry for your bad experience with Pinnacle Lighting Group. Yes, bulbs are very expensive and we only provide our customer with quality products from quality sources. We can see why you would be frustrated to start off by. We also take the safety of our crews very seriously and climbing trees is not taken lightly. And yes there is a cost to climbing trees. A three man crew is for the safety not for over charging our customers. Our intentions are always to do the right thing for the customer and we are sorry it ended so differently. Our best to you.
