When a root canal is done, that leaves a huge hole in a tooth, NORMALLY A TEMPORARY CROWN is put on the tooth, all I got from Dr. Pipkin is a temporary filing that fell out twice before I got my own patch kit for it.
Pipkin Dental replied:
I'm sorry the temporary filling fell out. A temporary crown is only placed while a permanent crown is being fabricated. The temporary filling is just that...temporary. It is made of a clay material and the excess is usually what comes out and not the whole filling. If the temporary falls out completely you are more than welcome to schedule an appointment to have it replaced until a permanent restoration can be done.
