We sincerely apologize for the issues we experienced during your recent service! . . The flash fire underneath your car was caused by prolonged contact between the catalytic converter on your car and the rubberized contact surface on our vehicle lift while we were performing the air induction service on your car. While we were extinguishing the flames, the powdery residue from the fire extinguisher made quite a mess that we attempted to clean up. In our effort to resolve the issues caused by this, we had the exhaust leak repaired, paid to have your vehicle detailed, replaced your spark plug wires as a courtesy (which was not related to the services we performed), rented you a car to drive while we resolved these issues, and awarded you a free oil change voucher along with the $150 check we gave you for your inconvenience. We hope that you are satisfied with our efforts to resolve this matter.
