Green Circle Salons helps businesses in the beauty industry reduce their impact on the environment.
Hair salons are known for the chemicals they use, and of course, no one will take them , It all goes down the drain. Green Circle Salons helps salons and spas reduce their carbon footprint by taking an "ecosystem approach." They consider recycling, energy, lighting, water, cleaning products, and hair products.
The hair industry is about looking and feeling good, but there has never been any accountability for it. Through the recycling program, hair, foils, colour tubes, plastics, papers and chemicals are diverted out of waste and water streams. The hair is collected and used to absorb oil spills. In the end, 90 to 95 % of waste is diverted. It's about keeping the communities clean and healthy, and creating a more sustainable business.

I love getting my hair cut with Julie at Poppy Salon! The salon's atmosphere is very relaxing and as soon as I sit down, she gives me a relaxing head and shoulder massage, followed by a wash, a terrific cut, and an amazing style. She does such a good job listening to her client's needs and giving an easy-to-maintain and fashionable cut.
