There are several pros and cons to my review.
High quality flooring
Beautiful finish on custom floor
Contract workers (delivery, installers, carpenter, painter) were extremely nice
Once contract was accepted communication was majorly lacking. We had to frequently call to find out status of delivery, install times and trying to rectify issues.
No one does quality control. Our floor was not level (unbeknownst to us). Well now we have a hump in our floor, wonky baseboard and the only response we got was "that's how old houses are"
Installers mangled our baseboards- excessive nail holes, chipped paint, stain and poly on baseboards- when we wanted it fixed it too weeks to get it done.
The person who did our estimate and was our representative never had the answer. It was always - "I'm waiting to hear from Jim" which took lots of time.
We were told it would take 5-8 days from acceptance of contract to complete project (I realistically thought 2 weeks). Our wood was scheduled for delivery on 10/10. They finished on 11/6.
So I might use them again but I would have to do more oversight throughout the process. I would clarify expectation on level floors, what baseboard should look like when done and time frame. Premier did fix the baseboard issues by painting and rigging a piece to try and cover the hump (it looks ok). My floors look beautiful but I guess I just had higher expectations from a high end business that had come so highly recommended.
