It bothers me that you are now only accepting appointments, and those are so booked that they are months out. I don’t understand how I can get care for my beloved dog if I really needed it. Luckily it wasn’t necessary this visit. I may be looking for another vet.

The staff is so kind and friendly and super efficient. My sweet pup was there for yearly vaccines and some flea and heart worm medication - we were in and out in about 20 minutes. A very favorable experience.

I requested heartguard appointment in August. I asked to pick up meds. The person on the phone asked for payment upfront. I replied I will pay for them when I picked up the Meds. I arrived mid afternoon to find business closed. Surgical hospital was also, closed with no one answering phone at either location. Your Fairlawn location was close by but the stow location is a bit of a drive. I subsequently took Rudy elsewhere. I suggest if you want to stay in business have someone answer phone or answering machine, do not ask for money upfront.

I am so utterly disappointed. I have been coming here for many years and I have always had wonderful experiences. Yesterday, I came in with my 17 year old cat for blood work and Dr. Thompson came in to give me the results. I knew the conversation wasn’t going to be good and I tired to mentally prepare myself. Dr. Thompson was abrupt and told me my cat was dying. I tried asking questions but she told me she couldn’t answer them that I had “to see a specialist.” What kind of vet can’t answer simple questions? Honestly, it was her overall demeanor and attitude that really upset me. No “i’m sorry” or “if we can do anything for you let us know.” She was very cold, abrupt and non caring. Dr. Thompson, please be more caring and considerate to those of us who come to you seeking support and guidance during these tough times. You had a chance to make a difference and help and you simply let us both down. My heartbreak was only amplified after leaving your office. On a positive side, the manager and nurses were great.
