About

Procare Vision Center of Troy is an individually owned practice, opened in 1994 by Dr. Carolyn J. (Steele) Davis. The office is located in the Trojan Village Shopping Center off of Dorset and Main St. Dr. Davis and her highly trained technical staff have been serving the Miami County and surrounding area with personalized professional service.

In July of 2005, Dr. Faith O. Salyer joined the Procare team. She has been serving Miami County and specializing in contact lenses since 1992.

In August of 2010, Dr. Lauren Grillot became the third member of the Procare team. She specializes in general and developmental optometry.

All three doctors are active members of the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the Chamber of Commerce. The doctors of Procare Vision Center are the only doctors in Troy to participate in the InfantSEE program, which provides infants under 12 months with a free eye exam.

We also work with the Lions Club, the Health Department, Health Partners of Miami County and the Vision USA program to provide free/reduced cost eyecare to the needy and working citizens without insurance.

The Procare staff participates in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life Walk, collects donations for the First Place Food Pantry at Thanksgiving and toys for children at Christmas.
