I appreciate all the support and help I received for my concerns and problem from both her and Dr. Sims when I needed it most! The only regret that I have is that I would have been seen sooner for my condition. I feel my problem would not have been as severe had I not waited 2 more days from my initial call into the office. I think they should have seen me the day I made the call and addressed the problem.

Excellent staff

Staff is very nice. Dr. is very thorough. Glasses are a little on the expensive side even with insurance.

I've been with Dr. Sims for 20 years and am completely happy with him and his staff. They are unfailingly friendly and professional. In fact, he moved his office from Lansing to Mason a few years ago, and I now drive there.

Origami Brain Injury Rehab Center

I speak of "our experience" at Origami Brain Injury Rehab Center--both my experience as caregiver and my wife's experience as care receiver there. We were welcomed joyfully, embraced warmly. After all the confusion & pain, this was so necessary, only you know! Amanda Lopez is so professional, warm, she helped Denise to begin to move forward. Ron is unique and really did wonders with his gentle physical therapy; it was his being able to step outside-the-box in his approach, use a combination of exercise, massage and adjunctive work by a behavioral optometrist [who got Denise "prism glasses" that compensate for the brain's healing strategy] so she is coping better with the pain--now reducing--and the dizziness, which is also receding slowly. Some challenges continue, but we have a sense we are supported, understood at Origami. We can move forth, thankful, into joy.
