While my stylist, Natalia, was wonderful as always, the checkout experience left much to be desired. Neither of the 2 staff knew how to process a gift card. One of the comments was "these are a pain". There has never been an issue with processing previously, and btw this gift card is what led me to become a client at Profilo many years ago. The staff member also stated that she could not process the gift card without knowing the amount that it was for, which never happened previously. This was, after all a gift. When I decided I had waited long enough and simply wanted to pay the total by credit card, stating that I had had a long day at work, the reply was "so have I, I've been here since 7", not an appropriate comment. My suggestion that staff should be able to process gift cards, while not eliciting commentary, was not received graciously.
