About
Dr. David K. White was born in San Rafael, California and raised within the nomadic environmentas a dependent son of a career United States Air Force Chief Master Sergeant. He attended the University of California, Los Angeles where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology. He further attended the University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He was commissioned an ensign in the United States Navy during dental school and upon graduation from Dental School, was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. He has served with distinction in the United States Navy for 30 years. He has delivered high quality dentistry while serving on board ships at sea and on while stationed on foreign shores. He has accomplished dentistry in tents on beaches and with portable dental equipment in the mountain jungles of the Philippines. Though quite capable of dentistry in these arduous enviornments, he excels in the modern dental offices as seen in Pure Dental of Camarillo. A lifefong student of the art and science of dentistry, with countless hours of continuing education, he completed a two-year residency based training program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Maryland at Baltimore, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. Highly intuitive veteran and accomplished comprehensive general dentist equipped with 30+ years of comprehensive expertise in advanced general dentistry, dental clinic management, process improvement, training planning and facilitation, and quality assurance. Treats the more difficult cases in all major clinical disciplines of dentistry, including endodontics, periodontics, operative dentistry, oral diagnosis/medicine, oral surgery and prosthodontics which do not require the expertise of a specialist in a single discipline, but require an advanced level of training in the multidisciplinary approach. Proven successful in establishing and maintaining strong organizational relationships while focusing on teamwork, service level, and cost containment. Extremely effective in demanding and fast-paced environments. Dr. White is married to his seventh grade sweetheart, the former Jennifer Lynn Sleeper of Arlington, Texas. They have two boys, Drew Cutter White and Spencer Ross White.
