Prior to joining Radiant Yoga, I associated Yoga with females or contortionist and I'm neither. I'm an alpha male who works out 3 times a week at the YMCA. Back in June 2012 my wife Rita, tried Hot Yoga and loved it. She challenged me to come and take a Hot Yoga class with her. I did and it kicked my assana! Now I'm hooked on Hot Yoga and I've been a member of Radiant Yoga ever since.
Hot Yoga offers my body benefits that weight lifting alone can't. Hot Yoga works out my entire body (inside and out). It's a great calorie burner. It's great for removing the toxins out of your body.
Another benefit is that it allows my wife and I additional time to spend together, doing something positive that we both can benefit from. I challenge anyone reading this to take a Hot Yoga (60) class first and then move on to Hot Flow or Hot Vinyasa classes at Radiant Yoga. Trish and her instructors are easy to listen to and follow along with. They encourage and remind us that we are all here on the mat for ourselves and our health. They accept everyone no matter if you're a beginner or advanced yoga practioner. I'll share this message that I read on a bumper sticker back in the 80's. "IGNORE YOUR HEALTH, IT WILL GO AWAY".
It's your health that you're investing in. What are you waiting for?
Will see you on the mat!
We are so grateful for your review, Tony. Men walk into a yoga class needing a challenge (kick asana!) and women often come to the mat seeking refuge. But we find out that both genders, get the benefits of both challenge and relaxation. Stretching muscles/detoxing connective tissue in the heat is helpful for everyone. Men especially may find that hot yoga improves flexibility, joint health, and can help restore back health since men tend to weight lift or maybe have tweaked their back in construction work or something intensive. We LOVE having you and Rita in our studio and we appreciate your loyalty and respect for yoga's multi-benefits.
