Normally, I'm a five star customer, but unfortunately not this last service. I came in for a headlamp change, and as part of our service discussion I was told the other working lamp was acting finicky. I thought no surprise, in that in my 40 years of driving I know that when one goes out,the other one fairly consistently follows shortly thereafter. I approved both lamps to be changed.
When I returned, I was told only one was changed, that the other working one was ok. I'm truly fine with the change in diagnosis. What I'm not fine with is that I approved two, and only one was done. When the other does burn out, I will now have to pay a second labor fee, which I don't think is right, given that what I approved to be done, wasn't. Looking back on it, I believe a phone call should have been made to clarify if I still wanted the second one done, given the change in diagnosis. I would have said yes.
