your office operates too much like a clinic. Gennie is great and so is Sharon but i just dont like the clinic atmosphere. i was referred to Dr Lockwood 20+ years ago.

I was a patient of Dr. Lockwood's previously to him merging to Regents Dental Group and this past visit was my first visit to the new office/group. I have no complaints about the hygienist, actually, I would consider going back to Regents only because of her. However, this past visit will be my last at this office. I am not fortunate enough to have dental insurance so I have to pay out of pocket for each of my visits. I was told I needed to get x-rays since it's been a year (which obviously cost more) and then wait to have an exam (which costs more as well) since it's required when you get x-rays. My cleaning was finished and I was waiting for quite some time with no Dr. in sight. When I asked how long the wait was, I was told Dr. Lockwood was too busy and wouldn't be able to see me so they had another Dr. do my very quick 2 minute exam. Upon checking out and paying my bill, again I have to pay out of pocket, I was told my bill for a cleaning, x-rays, and exam was $330!!! When I went to Dr. Lockwood's office previous to him merging, this same appointment cost me $190. He merged and prices went way up! Common courtesy would be to contact your clients and let them know your prices are being raised. It is extremely disappointing how much more this Dental Group is charging their patients that do not have insurance.
