We had to bring in our dog Nate after hours. He had been vomiting, was lethargic, wasn't eating or drinking, and was constantly drooling- which is 100% not normal for him (he is a Dapple Dachshund). We called our original vet, but they were closed, called Rehm and they said to bring him in,he could be seen immediately.
We met with Dr. Bryant Anderson who did an exam and talked to us about what could be going on. He went through all of our options and was sincere in his approach to our beloved pet and medical practices. They had to keep Nate on fluids over night as he was severely dehydrated. There was someone there all night to make sure he (and the other animals) were cared for. Which is great- nothing like having an IV drip come undone right after a treatment starts and no one catch it till office hours the next day. We talked to the office multiple times the following day, touching base and getting updates. Our pets are like our children and we were VERY concerned.
The staff was fantastic and Dr. Anderson was amazing!
We got Nate back around 7 the next day, a renewed dog! He was playful and happy, he was clearly feeling so much better! He was given some antibiotics and nausea meds as well as a special diet for the next few days. He has been home going on 3 days now and back to his old self!
I am so thankful for Dr. Anderson he was just so wonderful! I hope everyone has the same experience we had with such a great staff and professional and caring doctors!
