I earned my bachelor's degree in Microbiology from the University of California, Davis. I graduated from Creighton Medical School in Omaha, Nebraska and completed my residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Louisiana State University - at Charity Hospital, in New Orleans. For five years, I was Chief of Urgent Care at Kaiser Permenente for the Dallas Region.
