It is my feeling that you folks at Rick's have shot yourself in the foot now with your ridiculously high service prices and your pushy method of causing those high priced services to be brought about.

For 17 years, I've trusted in and enjoyed doing business with you, but apparently, that is not to be any longer. That is a shame because you are so convenient and from the outward appearance, you are made for my needs with ride home etc. etc.

I brought my vehicle in for an inspection in May. I got an estimate for $ 1,300 of repairs that I needed. My Air Conditioning was working perfect before I went to Rick's. Mysteriously it stopped working right after my viist. I didn't think much of it. I thought I was low on freon. So I drove around for about 3 weeks and went to SW Minnesota and stopped at a service station whom I can trust. I had them look at my AC. It did not need freon. Said it was an electrical issue. My mechanic lifted the fuse panel and there the relay switch had been unplugged. Now I know that this fuse does not unplug itself. I know Rick's was just trying to make more money on me. I did not have any of my repairs done at Rick's. I had them done for $ 300 with someone I trust.

This car has been in the family for years,13 years ago the dealership looked far and wide over the states to find this car it came from down South. After my daughter's family took it over it was a mess but still loved very much.Thank you for making a well loved car run like new.Your service was exceptional !!

My 8 years old grandson claimed it for himself of course when he learns to

drive he calls it his car/truck,then we know what he is talking about.thank you

for allowing this car to go on to next generation.

The work done seems to be great. I have a couple observations however. I was told my vehicle would be done by 12:30 but when I was given a ride over, my car was still on the hoist. I could not wait as I had to get back to work. My appointment included an oil change which was forgotten. However, I was given a free oil change as I had to return today for the oil change.

Can always count on a thorough examination of my vehicle for overall safety considerations. Service provided timely even when additional repair was needed. Made sure I had a vehicle to use in the meantime.

I have had work done on several vehicles at Ricks, mostly to do inspections/diagnosis alignments. Recently I brought my 2005 Town and Country in to have it inspected for some creaking in the front. Inspection showed the struts needed to be replaced which I elected to do myself. At that time, I also asked if everything else on the front was tight and was told yes.

After doing the struts, I brought it in for a front end alignment. Alignment was done to my satisfaction, but after doing the work I was told that the passenger side outer tie rod end was loose. After inspecting it myself, the end is indeed bad, and it is bad enough that the alignment should never have been done without consulting with me first.

One of the office staff offered to 'make it right' by offering a free second alignment in exchange for Ricks replacing the tie rod ends (both sides). The quoted price was around $250 for a job I can do myself. So, if I do the job myself, I will need to pay for a second alignment.

Very disappointed that I was not consulted with prior to the alignment being done. I have had positive experiences with Ricks in the past and will continue doing business there, but this experience was not a good one.
