Rick and his wife Karen founded Rick's Automotive in 1980 with determination to bridge the gap between dealerships and chain stores with an honest and competent auto repair facility dedicated and affordable. Our daughter's engine light came on while she was at MSU and we are hundreds of miles away. I googled repair shops in Springfield and decided on Rick's. What a great choice!!! From the moment the phone was answered (very happy receptionist) through the end of the repair, I was impressed with each person I spoke to, and so was my daughter! Every communication was cheerful, respectful, patient, and informative. Micah, Thank you! I felt like I was talking to someone who cared about the safety of my daughter and someone who had the time to explain the problem and repair. I highly recommend Rick's Auto to parents of MSU students who need auto repair. I'm not sure of the mechanic's name, but my daughter said the car is now running great! Thank you!
