The doctor was great, however I stood at the counter (Walmart) for several minutes waiting to be acknowledged before told to go around back by the Walmart staff.

Dr. Brown is so nice and very thorough. She does more than just a vision check/update. She really looks at your over all eye health. However, whoever did my insurance paperwork put some kind of hold on the account for me to be pre-approved to get contact lenses there.. Very strange as I never discussed this with the doctor and actually had specifically told to check in person that I would NOT be getting new glasses/lenses at Walmart next door. When I went to another place to actually order my new lenses I was turned down initially for lenses because I'd already been approved for contacts. I have NEVER worn contacts and have no intentions of ever wearing contacts. The new lense folks had to call Dr. Browns office to get the contact lense approval withdrawn. So, I go back to see Dr. Brown for her great service, not that of her staff.

Dr Brown will be very pleased to hear of the compliment that you have given her. But I would like to address the insurance issue. I do want to apologize for any inconvenience that it may have caused you. Occasionally insurance is pulled in the vision center when patients want to just see what benefits that they may have. This may not have happened, but either way. I do want to apologize.

The doctor was very knowledgable and new exactly how to treat me. He gave me some prescription eye drops and a day later and already feel better.
I will continue to use this office as I have been for years and have always been extremely satisfied.
