Riverdale Veterinary Group PC

5 stars Customer since 2016

Since I've moved, I am willing to drive an hour round-trip just to continue coming to Riverdale Veterinary Group. Love them!! They are quick, I'm able to make an appointment the same day, and always friendly!

They were able to see me in a very short notice and get everything I needed for my kitten and are always nice, my only thing is that on the first visit they weren't able to tell if the she was female or male and had listed as a male to later find out she was a female.

I was very grateful of the staff and Dr. Rosado. Everyone was very nice... They handled my cat with care, and they took their time and explained everything to me...

I've brought my pets here for routine care and for very serious health issues. They treat you and your pet with kindness and excellent care. I really like the fact that they don't go "nuclear" for simple problems--they are sensitive to financial considerations and will work with you to find an appropriate and affordable treatment. I've been to lots of animal clinics, and this is the one I will go to first. I've moved away from Riverdale, and still go back for veterinary care--I haven't been able to find as good of a clinic in my new town. It's a great place with kind and caring people who truly love animals. Kim

Normally my experience here is great. I brought my cat in for a nail trimming and was disappointed in how the staff treated her. While I was in the waiting room, I heard my cat screaming in a way I never heard before. She wouldn't stop so I went back to see what was going on. The staff was holding her down trying to cut her nails and she was still screaming. I was told I couldn't be in the room and I told them to stop cutting the nails. I understand that it's difficult to cut the nails of a cat that doesn't like it but once that kind of screaming started, the staff should have notified me and asked if I wanted them to continue of not. I am disappointed they didn't check with me before subjecting my cat to such stress, and possibly pain. I will never put her in that kind of situation again.

Was quoted $3-400 As the range for teeth cleaning on the phone and expected with extractions may be as high as $500. The bill was $594. $100 too much. I'll just go back to getting my shots at Popcorn Paws. Pennywise and pound foolish.
