Mr Sinclair, I wholeheartedly apologize for your bad experience at my busines. I clearly recall the day you brought the Jeep in. You had called around 1:00 seeing if it was done and we had not inspected your oil leak that you had been elsewhere advised was a transfer case
Unaware that you needed it by2:00, I personally beougjt the vehicle in, lifted it and performed the oil leak diagnosis.Ii contacted you right back with good news that it appeared to be coming from the oil filter area and was likely that no repairs would be needed.We installed a fluorescent dye to follow up in a couple days to confirm our diagnosis. Regarding the oil change , I will have to accept full responsibility for that. After I was done with the inspection part I left it on the luft and asked one of my technicians to do the oil change before the end of the day which was your revised pickup time. Apparently that never happened for no excusable reason, so as you stated my staff stayed late to complete the additional service you requested.
Regarding a cut in your top and/or break in you described. It sickens me that happened to your vehicle.i one owned a convertible and was suggested to me when I bight it to never lock a convertible. If a criminal is gonna break into it, they're gonna get in regardless, and a convertible fabric is an easy e try point but costly to the owner to replace. Not saying it's your fault but just a tip to always consider with a vehicle such as that. Also , unfortunately Morgantown has a significant homeless population that travels the river walking trail behind us. There's been a few instances lately, we reported to Morgantown city police dept and frankly they dont care and even when suggested they declined to even review our Clised circuit surveillance cameras. So I dont know what else we can possibly do it other than advise our clients if they drop off at night to try to park vehicle on front lot where there is better lighting and more visible to drive by traffic. I'm truly sorry that happened to your Jeep but should certainly be covered by your comprehensive insurance.i also apologize if I was supposed to follow up with you regarding video review, I guess I assumed you were returning for the oil.leak follow up visit and we would have a chance to speak. It's just a bummer how we went from being the hero at 1:30 saving you from an unneeded repair to.losing a customer.
