My experience at the salon was mixed. I had booked hair and makeup for my bridal party (bride, bridesmaids, and hair for moms). Two of my bridesmaids got their makeup done by Kevin, and it was amazing. They both looked great, he listened to what I wanted for their looks and they came out beautiful. I would absolutely recommend Kevin to anyone, he gets 5 stars. Two of us had our makeup done by Adela, and I do not think it was done as well. I had photos of what I wanted for my eye makeup, and I don't think she did a very good job of making it look like the inspiration. I had a spot on my forehead which she covered with concealer, but it wasn't blended well. When I pointed out (twice) that it wasn't fully blended, she ended up wiping it off completely, and I put concealer on it myself when I got back to my hotel to get ready. Some of us had our hair done by Adela, as well. Two of the ladies in my party had their hair last throughout the wedding and reception. One had her hair start falling out of the pins before we even left the salon, and it had to be retouched (it did stay up after she added more pins). She had also asked to have a braid on the side and was told by Adela that she "didn't do braids", despite the fact that she had just done a braid on another person in our party. My hair fell out completely during the reception, despite me trying to add more pins. It did not even last through dinner. I had specifically asked that she make sure it would hold up for dancing, and it didn't even last until the first dance. My mother had her hair put up by Kaitlin, and hers stayed very well. The mother of the groom also had her hair styled by Rebecca, and had no complaints.
I enjoyed the salon, and the staff were all very courteous and polite and helpful. I would recommend the salon for any bridal party, since it was a great environment to get ready in, and I enjoyed our time there. I would recommend Kevin in a heartbeat for makeup, and Kaitlin and Rebecca also both were extremely helpful and good with our mothers' hair. However, I would not recommend Adela, since I did not approve of her make up styling, I ended up touching up my own makeup after she was done, and my hair did not stay styled. I was extremely disappointed that I, as the bride, had my hair looking the worst out of all the people in the bridal party by the time we got to the reception, because it simply was not pinned up well.
