Worth the wait, the staff and physicians at Sierra Nevada Eye Center are VERY busy and for good reason. Be prepared when you get your appointment - take reading material if you can see and if you can't see then bring a meditative attitude. They take superb care of their patients and the billing department is AMAZING - they can part waters and if they can't then they will explain clearly why and work with you to pay.
My annual 10 am eye exam with eye drops was handled appropriately. My concern is that I had to go to work by 4pm. I called the office at 3 to ask was there anything I could do to improve my blurred vision. The nurse said no, just let it wear off. At 69 I have had a fair share of eye exams with drops, this is the first time that my vision was blurred for 7 hours. I would like to have another RX used if possible in the future. Previously with other exams I was offered drops to help return clear vision so that my job was not affected.
I am in my late 50s and I have had poor vision since birth. Going to the eye doctor always caused great fear and trepidation . . . until I met Dr. Pomeranz. He is one of the kindest doctor's I've ever met. His understanding of my congenital eye problems and his gentle demeanor put me at ease during each visit. I appreciate his thoroughness and attention to detail, and I trust him completely with my eye health.
