We joined this dental office because a respected, experienced dentist, Dr. Prevost was in the practice. Unfortunately for us he retired and the practice has passed to a newer younger group of dentists and assistants. Our experience has not been positive. The overriding sense is that they recommend more than is needed and charge more. After a visit with them (when the hygienist didn't even polish the teeth at the end, I had to see a highly experienced Periodentist who examined my teeth and gums carefully and who reported that the "deep cleaning" they said I had to have (costing a bundle, by the way) was not needed. Other procedures have been recommended that are also, at best, optional. While it may be a tiny detail: my husband was prescribed a special Dental Paste to enhance the finish on his teeth. They "sold" it to him at the office for $35 a tube. This product has a retail price of $18-25 at any dental supply. So, hold onto your wallets if you go there. On the plus side, the front office staff is very helpful and cheerful. And, they have free coffee. They also give away water bottles and promotional products. It's sad when dentistry gets to be all about the money.
