My experience with Rocky Tops Marble and Granite was a horrible one. First, I was a repeat customer - you would think that repeat customers would be valued for their loyalty to the business - WRONG. I had a huge issue with communication, getting return calls, return emails, etc., but because I hadn't had any issue with quality the first time we used them, we decided to overlook these issues and move forward with our purchase. When our granite tops were being installed, I noticed that they were cut in a way other than what best utilized the design of the granite. The best part of the granite was cut and put in a corner rather than have the veining flow on our peninsula as we had discussed. Our sales rep had been out the day we made our selection, and apparently this information hadn't been passed on to her. I immediately called as the tops were being installed, and I was told that the crew would put the slab in and leave it until a new one was cut and brought to replace the stone. Fine, a little inconvenience, but at least it would be corrected. Then, my sales rep texted me and said that there would not be a replacement stone unless I planned to pay for it. Of course she said this, maybe it comes out of her commission? I don't know, but it wasn't my mistake, but I had to pay for something I was NOT happy with, and got the continued disrespect and lack of customer service that I had in the beginning. I was told that the owner would be notified and would call me - STILL WAITING for that call, from over 2 weeks ago. Lesson learned - if you aren't valued from the get go - GET GOING to another business that cares about their customers.
